Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Browlab ("we", "us", or "the App") handles information when you use our brow shape design and comparison application on iOS.

1. Overview

Browlab is a local-first private tool. We do not operate social features, cloud photo storage, or user-generated content sharing. Your brow photos, notes, and preferences stay on your device unless you choose to export or save them to your photo library.

2. Information We Collect

• Device-local profile: A guest identifier created when you use One-Tap Sign In. No email, phone number, or password is collected.
• App usage data: Brow records, style tags, comparison sessions, Points balance, notes, and statistics stored locally on your device.
• Photos you choose: If you photograph or import brow images, or export comparison images and PDF reports, processing occurs on your device. We do not upload your camera stream or photos to our servers.
• Purchase data: In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We receive only what Apple provides to confirm Points credits (e.g. product ID, transaction status). We do not receive your payment card details.
• App Tracking Transparency: On iOS, we may request permission to track activity across other companies' apps and websites. You can deny this permission with no loss of core features. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

3. Permissions

• Camera: Used to photograph your brows for records and side-by-side comparison.
• Microphone: Used only when you attach a voice note to a brow record. Audio is processed and stored on your device.
• Photo Library: Used to import brow photos and save exported comparison images when you choose to save.
• Notifications (optional): Only if you allow the system notification prompt or enable them in Settings.

Browlab does not request access to your location or contacts.

4. How We Use Information

• Provide brow recording, gallery, side-by-side comparison, statistics, and export features
• Maintain your local Points balance and purchase history on device
• Improve stability and comply with applicable law

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:

• With Apple for App Store billing and system services you invoke
• When required by law or to protect rights and safety

6. Data Retention

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, log out, or use Delete Account in Settings, which removes your local profile and associated data on that device.

7. Children's Privacy

Browlab is intended for users who can make informed decisions about personal grooming. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us to request deletion.

8. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect data processed by the App. Because most data is stored locally, you are responsible for securing your device.

9. International Users

If you use Browlab outside your home country, your information may be processed where Apple or your device manufacturer operates.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
